Ive been reading about NL TD at Oulton yesterday. Sounds horrific. 1 dead and 2 critical after a big crash involving a few bikes. Some haters on social networking sites are saying NL didnt have enough staff to deal with it. Do any TD firms have enough staff to deal with a big one like that?
Marshalling of the track day is the responsibility of the track not the TDO so No Limits cannot be held to be at fault, then again it was an accident, they can and do happen but you will always get some idiot that wants to blame someone.
I agree mate. Ive only had 1 spill which was at brands, at paddock hill with NL. They were out straight away and were awesome. Like you say, accidents happen. Even at top level racing its rare to get a 5/6 bike crash. MY family hate me doing track days but the facts are, if you come off, you have medical help almost straight away.
Apparently it was fast group which was under subscribed which makes it all the more unusual. I can't see that anyone is to blame, it must have happened so quickly. IMO No Limits run their track days better than most if not all of the TDOs. A tragic accident
I agree a very tragic accident and my thoughts and prayers are with the riders family and friends.
Regarding no limits I have done loads if track days over the years and in my humble opinion no limits are the best by miles, oulton park is a wonderful track.
We all take our lives in our hands whenever we get on our bikes whether we are riding on the road or track.
