Similar styling to the new superduke.

Not a fan of this apparant trend of having a mountain like tank with the headlights melting away at it's base

Lots of new kit being unveiled at EICMA.

Can't link any pics on a work computer but list includes Ohlins / Brembo equipped Fireblade SP, Panigale engineed Monster 1200S (KTM Superduke R rival), MT09 Streethawk thing etc etc

It's nasty...Kwak looks pretty cool actually.

The Z1000 looks a poor update, styled after the latest Hondas, it's lost the balance of it's looks by removing the fork covers off the Gen 3 version.  The frame and engine look the same as the current model, so it's really just a new set of clothes, and the worst tacho I've ever come across.

Feel like I could like the kwak without that stupid headlight bit, and with a nice looking exhaust.... but at the moment think those ruin it completely!

Nope, if it had a Triumph badge on it it would still be ugly as fuck but at least we know it would be a better bike.....

People are expressing their opinions regardless of what it says on the tank...plus looks are only part of the package...let's see how it rides...that's the one thing Triumph have achieved in vast quantity. In my opinion nothing rides as good as the Triumph range at the moment....and that's why they get my hard earned cash.

Yep, I know that and would obviously expect your comment being a triumph owner/rider, the little tongue at the end was the clue ;)

BTW, not doubting the triumphs credentials, they are just dog ugly in my eyes

Had all makes...so no real allegiance to any of them...but it's great that a British company are leading the way...as for looks no manufacturer are knocking out pretty stuff...the new S1000R will scare kids and the non biking public...all the designers are hooked on the Transformer movies by the looks of things. Triumph are ace...I'm ace...hell even you're ace.  ;)

Hasn't that been in a transformers movie?

I think it might be a grower.

I've actually had quite a few calls on this bike already. To me if its a hoot to ride than it will sell itself. Test rides always predominantly change peoples opinion of a new bike out. Usually for the better.

I quite like the look of the Z, would be an improvement if they deepened the headlight a bit though, would balance it out a bit better.
