What else will i need for a good season for trackdays? I crashed at brands so had to get new fairings and a tank which ive got....Ive also brought a PC3, Adjustable rearsets, wets on wheels. I plan to change the road tyres for track tyres.
Are tyre warmers worth the money for a novice into inters?
Ive got tools, paddock stands etc.......anything else missing??
Foot pump and tyre pressure gauge. Jerry can and funnel. I'd say if you can afford tyre warmers then
get some.
Ive got a couple of jerry cans, jiggle tube instead of a funnel, gauge, footpump. Ive been offered a set of tyre warmers for £80....no idea if thats a good price or not?

Diamonds changed a few years ago - depends on how old they are.
From memory, they are 5 years old
I recently sold my set of the older Diamond tyre warmers for £85
Had them for quite a few years and could never be hassled to use them.
As for kit......Gaffer tape and cable ties obviously, wets on wheels are a nice addition and can keep you going when things get a bit wet. Make sure that the tools you have actually fit, ie spindle nut socket etc. What I did was emulate what I might need to do trackside and made sure that any tools that fell outside of the normal ones get packed in the trackday toolbox when I go.
One of the best bits of kit you can get for trackdays is............A chair
If they are in good working order then £80 is around what they're worth - I'd look at a brand new set of Race Techs for about £30 more..........

I think I have some spare diamond warmers, the elasticated type. Will check the trackday box
A selection of GoPro cameras and mounts cos there is no point being a hero if no-one sees it.
Mechanic x2
Suspension Technician
Ohlins Toolkit
KTEC Toolkit
Who said the fun had gone out of it.

If you could muster the real Kelly Brook we'd have a deal ..
Can just imagine the response from her agent now...
Dear Mr Maddog
As you will appreciate Ms Brook has many commitments during her time in the UK, as such I regret she will not be available to attend a trackday to act as pit "entertainment" for you and your friend Mark.
We appreciate you generous offer to meet all her travel costs and provide a wardrobe of outfits for the day but in our capacity as her agent we do not consider that an endorsement of the lubricating properties of KY Jelly and Cling Film would be a lucrative asset at this stage in Kelly's career.
In closing, I would draw your attention to the fact that we have notified the Police of your interest in our Client and filed private proceedings citing you personally and your friend Mark. Should you ever attempt to contact Kelly directly or via these offices again we shall commence a criminal prosecution and seize all your assets.
Yours sincerely etc...
PS - We have returned the zip-loc bag apparently enclosing your soiled undergarments soaked in chloroform and Rohypnol, I am sure you understand why.

We should have her as the site mascot!!!! Mods......
Tyre warmers are definitely worth it. Yes they are a faff, and you may or may not be faster using them,
But most importantly they make your tyres work better and LAST LONGER
Holroyd/Racetechs for value for money/performance/customer service
spare levers, foot pegs, clip ons..
basically a set of small stuff that does not cost much but could end your day if broken..
body work can be fixed up with gaffer tap but a snapped lever cannot. A low speed off prob would not do much damage but could easliy snap off / bend one of the above mentioned items..
