Post by: Maddog on November 18, 2013, 11:58:39 AM
Right.....i brought some used adjustable rear sets......my question is.........do i need to get a longer gear change linkage shaft to accommodate these as the standard looks too short.

No mate. It was an eBay purchase. Is there a standard length shift rod for adjustable rearsets or is it a case of measure it and get that length?

The length will be bike specific.

contact the manufacturer of the rearsets as they will probably sell you a rod
