Went back to a ninja after selling my 675R, had a ZX6R A1P for 10 yrs, then got the Triumph. 4 years of that wonderful machine when I had to sell due to lack of work, managed to scrape funds together a few months later and got myself a 7R, which I love, next newer bike will be the 30th anniversary 10R, well unless Triumph bring out a Daytona 765R, but will always keep my green 7R, love it too much, frigging heavy though.

Bike Talk / Re: Bike reviews
July 16, 2017, 04:19:22 AM
TBH I find bike reviews a complete waste of time be it in print form or YouTube. Especially in the sportsbike category. The journos even state that across the middle weight category and super sports that they are splitting hairs. So to us normal peeps all that print and wasted air on YouTube about the minimal differences between the 10R/R1/Blade/RSVR/Duc/GSXR/BMW is just yeah cheers pal, I'll buy the 1299 because I have the readies to pose, or I'll have the 10R because I'm a kwak fanboy, or I'll get that HP4 because I'm a club racer. Frankly I got my ZX636 because it was on offer, got my 675R because I was a bit flush at the time. Didn't look at any review when I bought brand new because I already know about bikes as do mostly all of us.

Road bike,  you can track a road bike but you can't road a track bike.

Newbie Corner / I've got a ninja again
June 23, 2017, 03:57:31 AM
Hi guys, was a member of the site before ( had a 636 A1P for 10 years) but for the life of me couldn't remember my details. Anyways been away from Kwaks for a while, had a 2013 675R for four years then had to sell due to lack of work (oil & gas). But HMRC was generous to give me a rebate, couldn't afford anything new, so scoured eBay for the bike I've always wanted, a ZX7. Picked up an absolute bargain for £1500, well made up, as I was looking at a bikeless summer. So hi again, a bit more wiser this time and looking forward to throwing the beast around a track soon.
