Spoke to Shaun Gilbert who I used to race with and he said the gearboxes are cheese and you miss gears a lot
And you struggle to get them through the noise testers too

Been thinking about buying a track day bike for next year while I build the SuperTwin (but now probably a brand new one)

I've always fancied an RC8 ... anyone had one or tried one on track?

Or maybe an RSV4, but that would divert too many funds from the supertwin

Today's decision
Don't strip the bike and get the frame straightened
Just buy a newer model straight frame ... it's cheaper and will make the build easier
Guess the shitter has become a donor bike instead

The bill just went up a few hundred quid
No biggie
