Suspension / Re: Fork Rebuild
August 22, 2014, 02:44:26 PM
So had my first outing on the newly rebuilt suspension at Rockngham this weekend just past, and I've got to say it's the best money I've spent on the bike so far. I can really feel the difference with the revalve/rebuild, and I had so much confidence in the bike it just made me want to push and push (for my novice level any way!).

If you're considering getting any suspension work done but can't afford the established names, I will definitely recommend Tillit, and will be using them again in the future.

+1 with Ash's recommendation. I spoke to Darren off the back of Ash's post on here, he's  straight up bloke. I sent off the forks and shock from my R6 track bike, he stripped, rebuilt, revalved/springed them all and sent back in a week and a half. Cost was about £440 all in which I thought was good value compared to some of the established companies. Will be testing out on track this weekend to see how good the results are.

Misc For Sale / Having a clearout
January 14, 2014, 01:48:42 PM
Having a clearout and got the following items that need a new home.

Dainese Wave S Back Protector
Owned for a few years, still in good condition. I have replaced the loop side of the velcro as the original didn't stick too well a few months into ownership. Size is Large and I think an L2 protector. I have used this a lot the last couple of years but it still has life in it yet. £40ono

BKS London Brown Leather Jacket
Only worn a handful of times, selling in as new condition. Chest size UK 46. Comes with elbow and shoulder protection, has pocket for back protector and internal removable lining. 4 outer and 1 inner pocket. Lovely jacket which still retails for £150+. Ninja Price £100

HELD Winter Motorcycle Gloves Arctic 2170
These gloves are Goretex winter gloves, fully waterproof and warm. Came 6th i think in this months Ride Winter Glove test. I bought these brand new last year but again only used  a handful of times and come in as new condition. Size is 11 XXL, but I usually wear XL size gloves, so please bear this in mind. These gloves still retail for £109.99 at Get Geared where I bought these from. £65

PM me if you're interested in anything. (apologies in advance for the crap picture quality).

Parts For Sale / Yoshimura RS5 For Sale
January 14, 2014, 01:35:47 PM
From my old CBR 600RR4, I believe this may fit the RR-5/6 models also.

Got some small marks, nothing major. No Baffle, but sounds nice and looks good. Comes with hanging strap and link pipe springs. Looking for £200 or it goes on the bay.

Can post pics if there's any interest.
