Ffabbri double bubble screen for a G2. £28 posted

SBS pads - 2 pairs. HH equivalent. As you can see from the backs these are nearly new - were used to bed in new disks for 50 miles which turned out to be wonky from the off - disks went back, new disks came with new pads so I never used these. £25 posted

Pair of G2 disks - right (iirc) is warped or has disk thickness variation - whatever - left is straight. Pair for £50 posted.

2 Pairs 6 pot tokico caliper halves. The ones with two smaller pistons and 4 larger. Need refurb. Will come with new caliper half joining bolts, the smaller pistons only and whatever seals/bleed nipples I can find. £50 posted

pm if interested

cheers

I can get pilot powers for £156 from bct motorcycles. Are there any other tyres worth considering for similar money out there?

Yeah you could be right there about the old hose flexing more. I guess that might improve the feeling of initial bite as a decrease in pressure as you come of the brakes would make the hoses return to their normal state and draw the pistons back further into the caliper body than they would with new lines.

With these new hel lines it feels like the pads are already against the disc iykwim

Mechanical / bar end weight falling off

As it says. How do I stop the blinkin thing from falling out? Already lost one down the road

Lhs I threadlocked in and tightened as much as possible without stripping the head of the bolt which seems to work. Rhs still works its way out. It's a bolt that tightens onto a rubber bung.

Was thinking maybe bathroom silicon on the bung might help. Would like something non permanent.

Any other ideas?

having just rebuilt my calipers and replaced the (13yrs old....) hoses with new hel lines - they've definitely improved stopping power but at the expense of feel. Also inital bite is nowhere near as good as the old hoses.

tbh I reckon I could have got most of the performance improvement back by just rebuilding the calipers and re-bleeding. Which is what I would do with a two year old bike with a few miles on it. If it aint broke etc  Next time I'll be looking into the price of OEM lines.
