Ultimate Ear will be at silver stone next month at a CSS day, I'm wondering whether I can just got and get moulds done, even if I'm not in the CSS event.

Thanks chaps, what brands do you have?

We use bike-to-bike intercoms so I would still need to be able to hear that :)

I've got 2 x MRA/Kawasaki screens from our 250's and also a solo seat cowl in green.

There are pics of the screens here: http://www.xorro.co.uk/vehicles/ninja250r/

Screen £40 + postage each - great condition
Solo seat £35 + postage - good condition but one small mark on the side that I can take a pic of if you're interested.

Based in Northants if you would like to collect.

Bike Talk / Custom Earplugs

Anyone here with experience of custom ear plugs?

Every year I think about getting some and never get around to it. I use disposable ones, but after and hour or so they start to get really uncomfortable - I've got a mixed bag of different ones to work my way though, so may stumble upon ones that reduce noise and are comfortable, but I still think custom may be best?

Hi Grantham, passed by your way the other week when we took the 300s up to Lincoln.

They're still not run in yet so can't tell you much about them, but I know from other owners that the fun starts after 8000rpm :-) (redline is 13)

Will report back when we've had them a bit longer.

My other half has fallen in love with the 300, enough that she plans on doing her test and buying one. Good to live with??

Hullo and welcome

Hi Manic - difficult to answer at the moment as we're only up to 46 miles on them! Compared to the 250, it is slightly heavier and this is noticeable when man-handling the bike, I think because the tank is higher and the centre of gravity is higher.
Seat is like a wooden bench at the mo, but other owners have said it gets better after about 300 miles.

I think the 250 is a better starter bike, but the 300 feels more solid and positive due to the reduced engine vibrations, which is a huge plus as after an hour or so you'd had enough of it on the 250.

Need to get the tyres scrubbed in asap so I can actually ride it like I want to, then roll on 500 miles when the run-in is 'complete' and I can started pushing the revs a bit.

Has she had a test ride yet?

Newbie Corner / Back from the old site - with new 300's!

Hi, was a bit of a lurker on the old site and have just noticed that I need to re-register. Had a pair of Ninja 250's until last weekend when we traded them in for the new Ninja 300 :)

Any other 300 owners on here?
