As per the title, does anyone have any recommendations for these?

Only need capacity for 2 riders to talk to each other, not fussed on music play options, connecting to mobile etc that appear to be available on many, just good intercom capabilities, with a reasonable range.

Just looking for thoughts here ......

CB1300, all working fine a matter of weeks back, then a week ago it was taken out the garage and the clutch was gone. No warning, no previous slippage or issues whatsoever!

Now in many years of biking between us, neither of us have ever had a clutch go on us, let alone having had something suddenly disappear like this. 

Now normally you would expect that at the right revs, you would be able to shift  up and down the gears without too much trouble,  this also did not prove to be the case!!  Safe to say, we were not amused or impressed as only purchased the bike a few months back.  Anyhow, got bike to garage it was purchased from (shall reman nameless for now).

Picked bike back up today and it is running fine, and the answer we got was, the clutch fluid must have degraded.  We changed the fluid and its working fine.

Now does this seem right to anyone on here?  ........ bearing in mind that the fluid that was in it when it went in was crystal clear and light in colour, no floaters etc .... and it can clearly be seen that there has been no screwdriver anywhere near the screws on the reservoir, so how can they have changed the fluid? 

They appear to be hiding something so curious as to what could have caused the clutch to disappear like this?

As per the title ..... how the feck are you meant to get the bike up without it falling over!!!

Tried and tried, every time we go to lift the back end, the pin that goes into the back spine starts to come out and the bike wobbles, what a pain in the arse!!

Can anyone explain the knack of working these feckers ............. please

For those of you who know me/seen my cbr over the last few years, I am looking to see what people think would be a fair price for my bike (both private and trade)

I know any bike is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, but trying to guage whether i am being realistic or not!!

Its a 99 cbr600fx, with 40K on the clock. Good tyres, tax to Mar14, current mot Oct 13 (but happy to renew if selling private). It has seat cowl, scorpion can, double bubble tinted screen, braded hoses. Also have a brand new honda seat for it (as i had the existing one cut down).

The trade in values i have had to date range from £500 to £1500. The 1500 was appealing but against a bike that was too far away, and is now sold anyway.

I know i would get more for it private, looking at other private sales, the range appears to be £1650-£2000, and the hassle that goes with it!!

The bike itself is great, but after the run on saturday it reinforced how much pain i am in riding it, so i need to change for a more upright bike, as it really is taking the fun out of riding

Hi all

thinking of the option of clip-ons on my cbr600fx

Basically looking for thoughts/knowledge on changing bars for clip ons, i.e. will they sit ok without banging against the fairing, and what else do I need to consider?

Main reason I am thinking about it, is that more and more I am getting sore wrists and shoulders with the riding position, and am wondering what peoples experiences are ... do they make that much of a difference?  is it worth it ... do they make much of a difference without going to the lengths of adding rearsets too, to change the overall body position?

I have had a couple of runs on my hubby's bandit over the last weekend and it has got me thinking as it is without doubt much more comfortable. Ideal world I would go buy a naked bike, but the cash is limited. I like a few naked bikes (inc bandit) but I also don't want to part with my cbr either as I still love the bike.

Looking for peeps thoughts/ideas.
