yep and done over 2100 miles already
tbh was nothing wrong with rear brakes just the fluid in reservoir got a bit cooked on my last scotland trip and was pretty black
so wanted to fresh'n it up
as I said to alzo.. I like working on my bikes

don't go to a dealer and ask how much px would be your cry...

and not going to take it to dealers every time I want to change the brake fluid
to me its part of the fun of bike ownership
next is a socket for that rear wheel, nothing i have is even close to big enough

what size is the nut as i have one from my trumpet single sider you can have if it fits,  will have a look in the garage

I believe its 36mm , there is some discussion as if it needs to be a 12p as is a bit pointy!
not sure if you can see from this:

cheers mate, but i dont think its anywhere near that large
as 899 has a std swingarm
a quick google suggests the 1098 is a 55mm nut!
