changing oil on zx6r (f3)

Its an oil pressure light not an oil level light

I no KNOW , I had read about some people filling the filter//not filling the filter and then not being able to get the light to go off

it will probably end up with the whole 4 litres in it , need to take it for a run come back and check level (the level wont move) I can lean the bike and it doesn't budge one bit
