It looked like fun, riding around, some people popping a few wheelies etc when there's no risk of injury to the public. But riding on pavements is a HUGE no-no for me. Generally being a menace isn't cool. There were probably some people just there for a fun night's riding but the knobs turned it into a dickish event. Had I been there, I would have gone home when I saw that.
