Does anyone know anything about scooters?

I bought Anna a cheap second hand 125 Keeway (?) scooter from the auctions.

Seems to run OK but hits 35mph and doesn't rev any higher...... are they restricted?

We always hire scooters abroad and they all seem to zip along at a decent lick.

I've had dealings with keeways used to sell them once upon a time , there not limited does it sound like it should have more to give? Do you know the model?

Yeah, doesn't sound like it's revving out........ suspect it's been stood a while so probably has stale fuel

for the few minutes it will take to get the variator apart, might be worth checking the weights, and sliders and also if its got a restriction washer

it needs a new exhaust...... I can't find one for that particular model but apparently it's a pretty common engine...... and I'm bored.

Can someone find one for me please?

Wasn't sure if there were performance ones for it as there are for alot of the keeways spoke to my old supplier and they said they don't do one for it anymore but are going to check if they can match the part number to a different model , I'll let you know

Can't remember.... something like 150 quid so I just bid on it for shits n giggles.

Sprayed carb cleaner down the inlets last night and it intermittently revved out so it's obviously been stood and the carb's gunked up.

Planning on using it to get to and from Turf Moor to watch the football and avoid the traffic.
