Lorna if you can get a size of the bore and let me have the pin i can 'turn' you a new one on the lathe at work... :)

Good man  :azn:

fantastic Glenn, the diameter of the bore is 2.8cm and the overall length is 25cm. The bore does get bigger part way through, then reduces again. 1st point of change is at about 13cm in.

Let me know how best to get the pin to you?

cheers  :azn:

cheers for the offer buddy, but I have managed to source one for just shy of a tenner delivered, so no need for you to go to the effort, thanks all the same!

good to know you can do stuff like that for future.

Apparently the one I have is for a ducati going by size (ducati shop says there are two sizes for their bikes), so if anyone is looking for a 22-23mm diameter pin for a sealey single arm paddock stand, I can help!!

cheers peeps

Glad to hear you've got it sorted  :azn:

Ok Lorna. Glad you got it sorted. That would have been no bother though...

CBr6y

well so much for that!!

New pin arrived, and it does go inside the sleeve and appears to be a fairly good fit (diameter) but its not long enough. Bike still started to slide off the pin when bike at a slight angle, I just don't trust it.

So Glenn ... as I was saying, how best to get the pin to you ??

:cheesy:  Well I can meet in Glasgow when your next up. Or pop by mine. Or send it? Either way take pics and detail what ye want done. Can put a thread and supply a bolt in it for extra piece of mind too.

CBr6y

Easiest thing is probably to drop it over to you, its not as if you are that far away.

Will get pics etc and give ya a shout!!

cheers
