Well I needed to get the full kit sorted for my sister and did quite well.. what was there was quite interesting but it was waay smaller than I remember..

Back in the day.. (2003) I went to the ally pally show and it was heaving, even to the point they needed a tented area outside.. loads of racing spares and cool stuff.. am I romanticising over the past or was it really that much better?

I went there to get a lid but the prices were shite. I needed a few bits for the zx10 but there were very limited stands offering bits....i came back with 2 dvds and a hard on after the spearmint rhino birds went past

Ally Pally was excellent Mark.

I wouldn't bother with the Excel if I lived next door to it.

Did the Ally Pally used to be called the 'Road Race & Supebike Show'?......  it was a great show back in the day.

Yeh, I used to go to it way back in late 90's before they tried to turn it into a mini-NEC show.  You could get all kinds of racebike stuff that wasn't easy to buy anywhere else.
