Aberdare road race

Had anyone been to this,  tempted to go for a day see what it's like.

I have been.

Tis properly TT-esque mental.

If you think of your local park, bandstand, duck pond etc then race bikes around it. Protect the closest trees with a straw bale and parcel tape but don't worry about the others and there are lots.

Nikki off here has a mate who races there who we went to see when I was there.

It's a cool weekend. It's a park the rest of the year. It's scary to watch them with only a bale of hay between them and the many many trees. If the suns shining its a nice day of racing, dirty burger and cheeky pint.

I may well have to take a bimble over to have a look later on in the year.
