The early pani's are supposed to be very hot due to a lack of heatshield on the exhaust where it runs under the seat. Fuelling is better on newer models too apparently.

dont really know the value of your bike so hard to say from a monetary value if would be a good deal
1199 is supposed to be quite hard on the road, due to sussy setup. combined with power and usual sports bike position
but looks good 
i would swap without question, but i dont like the 1190 at all, so easy for me to say :P

yup 99% sure the original issue was the dealer's fuck up
but once i got the 2nd registration plate was issued, was definately the DVLA dragging their heels
