They are awesome fun, and it's all about the technical riding control.

I'd agree, I've a trail/road KTM lc640 ridden it on & off road it's the most fun I've had for years, I'd love to try a pure trial bike to see how different it is to mine tho.
Life is the stuff that happens to you while you're making other plans.

Trials bikes look a real challenge but nothing compares to a decent Enduro bike or crosser. To have the shove, grunt and acceleration and use it off road is awesome fun.
Significantly faster than you.....

You've ridden a trials bike then?

Only once very slowly around a farmyard but enough to realise Dougie Lampkin is some sort of talent filled god.
Significantly faster than you.....

Overheard a couple of Repsol Montesa owners at the trial last week saying how much easier all the sections were on their bikes than their previous ones.

Tempted to upgrade.

Although it might not be the best bike out there for lots of reasons, and I'm not wow'd by it's looks, I keep hankering after a Street Triple R, I see GreenNinja's one and think I'd love one.

I'd also love a big bang R1, again not the best looking bike but I adore the R1 generally and with that engine it would be awesome.

Really boring and predictable, but really fancy a Blade SP

look awesome, come with decent kit on, and quick enough for most people....

Street R is one of the most fun bikes money can buy...handles like a goodun...engine is a hoot...it's almost...and I do emphasize almost as good as a Speed R.

Would have my bike back in an instant, I can't think of a bike I want to ride or look at more.... close to perfection for me!

Welcome to have a go sometime PJ, the reason I haven't posted is there's nothing that really 'speaks' to me like the Street does.
