Time for the 9R to go, I've hardly done any miles in the last couple of years and this year have only ridden it home from the spring service, so it's time to move it on and hang up my leathers for a while.

Not many of you have seen it in the flesh but it's pretty nice. It has a little age-related wear, like the lacquer on the polished factory swingarm is worn, could be buffed up afresh, but the bike hasn't been scraped down the road. The major mods were carried out by previous owner from new, not as crash repairs.

Kawasaki ZX-9R 1999 (C2):

• 20,800 miles
• Full 12 months MOT mid November
• Racing Eckl endurance rep bodywork with single seat unit and front light splitter
• Custom factory swinging arm
• Full Akrapovic race exhaust system
• Öhlins front fork internals
• Öhlins steering damper
• Harris aluminium rearsets
• Kevlar braided brake hoses, rear brake inline pressure sensor for brake light
• MBA double bubble and Harris aluminium screen brace
• R&G exhaust guard, Motrax crash bungs, rear paddock stand bobbins
• Full service every spring, last carried out April 2014

In fantastic running order, still delivers and brings the grins. Hearing this carbed engine through the full Akky system is something to behold.

Spares and accessories included:

• Stock exhaust headers in mint condtn
• Akrapovic end can skin
• Paddock stands
• Optimate III
• Clutch perch from E1 (2000) so it can take race levers
• Stock seat
• Stock fairing brace
• Spare aluminium heel guards
• Spare bar ends
• Tyres still have some miles in them
• If I can find them I'll include spare 6-pot front calipers that need a clean and seals

ZX-9s can go for varying amounts, while it can't be showroom at this age it is pretty clean, awesome as hell, and has a shed load of spares & accessories, so my expectations are hopefully in balance at £1400 MCNNinja rate. Advertised for £1650 elsewhere.
