Rode my bike to work today and the pain in my neck was uncomfortable around town. Then I see a XSR700 at work and i quite fancy one. still not sure I want to get rid of my bought and paid for R6 but I suspect a test ride is in order.
In short, it's taken me 18 months to move to the next stage.

Nobody can say you're rushing into this....

The change may be slow...but once you do you won't ever go back.

Test ride on the XSR700 and MT07 Saturday morning.

Test rode the XSR yesterday and put down a deposit. Was gonna trade in but now I can insure both for £240 multi bike, I'm just gonna keep my R6. Just can't bring myself to sell/trade in. Hopefully can make a deal and have both bikes in my garage!!!

Interesting - the definition of naked.

For me, a naked is a sports bike without its clothes but very little else changed. Supermotos are not naked bikes, the Multistrada is not a naked bike.

Is the Superduke?? Probably yes. Proved myself wrong.

Significantly faster than you.....

Multistrada has a fairing in my book!

In my world, they are naked.  ;)

So today I went to look at a Honda Deauville. Had one before and i've got the XSR for hooning about on. Dealer is closed tomorrow so i've got 36 hours to weigh up trading the R6 for a Deauville. It'll more than likely enable me to commute on  a bike more often as I won't mind this one getting wet. Missus has also said she'd go on the back of this one. It's got heated grips, shaft driven, comfy to ride. Not an R6 though,is it? #stillmullingitover

Hi all,

Not been on here for ages - and this is the first post I came across lol - looks like everyone is getting old .
I've just bought myself a road bike again after 8 years or so track bike riding only. Didn't fancy a sportsbike as I want to do some long tours etc and generally fancied something different, and so after getting myself re-educated on what's available road bike wise these days I decided to get a 2016 Z1000 SX - 1 owner from new with full touring pack!
this one actually -

It fuckin massive, but its so comfy, and the engine is smooooth - does this still count as a ninja? :azn:

Excellent choice, I would definitely consider one if I went back to road riding.

Yeah that counts. Although where's the pic?

Rules of the internet and all that - Pics or it didn't happen.

Its called a Ninja 1000 in the states, not sure I'd count it as massive mind, Ive got a 2014 model and its very capable of dealing with twisty roads and you are right the engine is an absolute peach.. Brilliant road bike
