There is a walk around video on Youtube and that has a different end can on.. I assume its the Suzuki option and it does look better than OEM...

If it has the grunt (or more) than the original K5-6 Gixxer, then I am all for a test ride.

Get a quick shifter on it and its an S1000R beater (in goes the hook and line....)

It'll easily be the fastest thing I've ridden so that's gonna be my overriding experience I think..

must remember to think about handling and brakes and stuff while I'm ginning like a loonatic..

Newbury's probably a bit of a trek for you but there are not that many dealers getting them this early apparently. I was first on the list though so still places available if you fancy a road trip..

Didn't know there was a bike shop there in Newbury!

I grew up in Newbury and it was being allowed, aged about 13, to take away the Kawasaki brochures from 'Best of Bikes' near the clock tower (long gone...) that made me say "I'm getting a Ninja when I grow up!".

A bit like the GSXR really, good bike but not up there with the rest of them. I think it looks good enough and will be fine ridden in isolation but compared to the S1000r and the 1290 duke it'd be a bit flat.
