All of them, I regret selling nearly everything I've ever sold, I think I'm a hoarder!

I rarely sell a bike, just dump them in my parents shed when ever I get a new one

PJ

This popped up on Timehop yesterday and made me miss her even more!

Or in some cases writing off.

Both my b1 and the 675

What about you lot?

I have a 675 for sale.. 1 careful owner... needs a little fettling...

My mint 05 road going 10R. I owned it from new for 8 years. That thing thrilled me, scared me, got me out there on some crazy days with great friends. It saw me through good times and bad. As I got into track riding it became a bit of an ornament as I used my numerous track bikes much more but it still gave me pleasure seeing it every day and getting out for the odd road blast. I only sold it like I did all three of my bikes as I desperately needed funds but really wish I could of hung onto it for life.

I guess, only really my KR-1. That thing was a hoot to ride - 50 bhp and weighed about the same as a sparrow's left testicle. But I just didn't have the money to bring it up to scratch at the time. I sold it to somebody looking for a project.   :(

Lord Danoir the first

Ray's KR1 got me thinking.

I regret selling my first race bike. Ex Jamie Whitham RGV. Not because of any emotional tie.... I fucking hated the spiteful bastard, it was as flat as a pancake under 9000rpm and if you dared to rev it over 11000, it would nip up like an abused child....... fucking thing.

But no..... I sold it for £500 and it would make a great garage ornament now.

That's like trading in a supermodel for a chubby one legged receptionist , it just doesn't make sense!

But you can't live with the supermodel cos she has her head up her own arse, is a real pain in the neck (and back, and backside - everywhere, really) but the receptionist is a complete nymphomaniac who could suck a fucking basketball through a hose.

Depends whether you want to look at it or ride it. Each to their own.  ;)

This was my favourite and probably most comfortable bike of all time.  I did 140,000 miles on it from new in 1982 until I got wiped out buy a dozy van driver 5 years later.  I could have repaired it, but I got paid out what it cost me (£1400) and I was able to buy a brand new CBX750 without any financial outlay.

Still miss the old girl to this day despite having owned much more sophisticated and tecnologically advanced bikes since

2 fantastic posts for very different reasons.  Love it.

I would have liked to have kept the B1 as a track/sunday tool but it was too snatchy for everyday use...

Even though I have had some nice bikes I actually miss the VFR750. It was so easy to ride 80% -85% pace and was an absolute hoot on bumpy b-roads. The 7R because ti was so pretty and my first proper bike the ZXR400 but just for nostalgia

Now I'm on a thou I cant imagine for a moment ever having less power...that includes me riding in all weathers
