Great bike. Shame they royally fucked it right up with the C1.

They did exactly the same with the 10R in 06.

Only picture I have of mine doing a Gobert impression. Can't seem to orientate it right.

Seem to remember it was a carbon Akky and PC111.

Significantly faster than you.....

Thought at the time the C model was okay....but I must admit when I see one now the arse it horrendous. I enjoyed my B1 despite the rear shock being non existent.

Tail tidy, BlueFlame twin-port, K&N, R&G bungs. arrow indicators and seat hump
Wife's B1 is an ex-Kawasaki UK bike and has barely turned a wheel in the last 6/7 years, think it shows 3,600 miles on the clock  :embarrassed:
Should probably have gone to fund other toys but way too pretty to sell

Didn't some guy called 'toypop' who was someone's secret alter-ego on here say that they were the shittest bike ever made?

I used to have a black one that I thought was pretty frikkin dope at the time.

Carbon Akky end can, shock re-sprung by those guys in Sandy that MK Ninja knew that people used to go to for suspension back in the day, Ducati-type steering damper made by somebody other than Ohlins, usual double-bubble screen.

I remember when I test rode it in like 2003 at Lloyd Cooper motorcycles where Greedy Reed from No Limits used to work, having got off a J2.

Felt frikkin' fast, rock hard and a bit mental. Had to buy it.

They'd probably call it a sports tourer now...

Gratuitous shot from Cali Superbike School day on it...

WizzBang

I got mine from the Bensons (anyone remember them ?)

As for what I did with it....erm...I rode it, crashed it, rode it, crashed it, rode it, tracked it, rode it, etc

Fitted braided lines, a couple of different end cans, and let Zenodamper use it as his development bike in exchange for a complete strip and custom rebuild of both the forks and shock.

Oh, and ran it with the Bic livery

Fastas......

Not done much to mine. Paso type levers, micron can, suspension set up and numerous panels due to chucking it up the road (twice)  :moto:

Now we need Wizzbang, Wallace and NinjaGirl to wade in with some pics! And they are the ones I can definitely remember having B1's!

You must have some somewhere Paul? I'll dig about and see what I can find, didn't have it that long though really did I. 7 months I think it was and it got nicked. I didn't do anything to mine though really, Akky Ti slip on, k&n and a pciii and that was about it iirc.

I told you about 6/7 years ago that you should have let me have it Phil, you and Kath wouldn't listen though.

I wanted one but that's about as helpful as DW.
