PipeWerx do a very neat decat and stubby can for the MT10 and for very little money too.

After your initial concerns about getting one Moz I thought it looked lovely on the bike, really suited it.

I wasn't over keen on the one you fitted to your R1 - but it did grow on me - however that one for the MT10 doesn't do anything for it at all. It would look better with a full length link pipe and can imho.

Weird how everyone used to cut cans down to stubbies, and now the manufacturers fit them as standard everyone wants a pipe and can again

Gobert

Pretty sure the MT10 comes with a full length system as OE............

Alzo

It comes with an exhaust made out of Meccano.

Fair enough.  Had to Google one and I see it's got the current trend of big triangular things.  Thought from yours and Moz's posts it started off with the little'un!

interesting read in MCN doing a shoot out between MT10, S1000R, Tuono etc, and the comments they made about the S1000R motor..

if you haven't read it they placed the MT10 second behind the Aprilia but above the S1000R..

Alzo

Not being defensive...but it's the same pattern when a new bike comes on the scene...when the S1000r hit our shores it blew everything away. The Speed Triple was the best...and so it goes on...these features need to be taken with a pinch of salt...they write what comes up their humph...Performance Bikes are the worst...they declared the new Speed Triple as "Bike of the year"...then said the M10 was the bike to have...twats.
The performance on all of these bikes is close enough to allow each of us to find one that suits us best...ride them all...form your own opinion...then buy and enjoy...I wouldn't part with the S1000r for any other bike out there....suits ME as much as I need.

The one constant is that the Tuono comes out on top, test after test................ ;)

Gobert

In "Alzo its-a-keeper Monthly" maybe.....

I went out on my 14 yesterday and I reckon the Tuono would beat it to around 140.....

Gobert

That's the old Tuono not the 1100.....................

Gobert

From the MCN article..... "The Tuono won our group test earlier in the year" and that was the old 1000....

Alzo

You have a great bike...I have a great bike....the M10 for someone will be a great bike...all is good with the world.  :azn:  :moto:
