Some bikes are like that.  First few times I rode my SP2 I wondered what the hell I'd just spent a load of money on!

I liked the engine immediately...couldn't believe then and still amazed now at the way it pulls from any revs in any gear...it could be a bit better build quality wise...and possibly a bit prettier up front...but I forgive it for all its shortcomings when buried deep in to a fast sweeper and it tracks beautifully...feels rock solid...the howl from the exhaust...and the seemless power lifting the front at three figure speeds...it doesn't get much better.
