New 2017 S1R has broken cover (spotted at Oscherslaben) - it has the auto blipper, a more 2015 style RR chassis and sadly, the big can.

I still like.

I'm keen to see the final outcome...Can looks like the one off the XR...which is horrendous.
If the Autoblipper is a standard feature then fine...but I wouldn't specify it...part of a joyous run I had the other day was getting my gearing and revs all set up nicely before entering a corner...I honestly want to be doing that...have ridden both the RR and XR and the feature leaves me cold.

When I test rode the XR, I found the auto-blipper quite fun.

You don't have to use it all the time if you don't feel like it, of course.

All things being equal, I'd have it, although I'd happily take a bike without it in the interests of getting a cheaper deal.

Safety features...fair enough...but features that remove my involvement...nah.

Whereas the those of us who suffer carpal tunnel find auto blippers a godsend! I personally use it all the time on my bike, even just bimbling along...

I have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel on both wrists...if it got to the stage I couldn't pull in a clutch to downshift I would give up. So sorry don't see where the feature assists your condition.

Not much different to what we have now really looks wise only the can and the slightly different rev counter background. Again not sure the auto blipper would interest me that much, although never tried one. Certainly not making me want to go and change mine.

Side panels have more plastic surrounding...Can is awful...almost as big as the bike...I won't be rushing to buy it.

There are levels of severity...some non surgical procedures...then surgery...the results are mixed and the healing time from one individual to another can range from 3 months to 18 months. My younger brother got it done...a year to recover...and after all that it returned.
