Steve Jones - Talan Racing

Many of you know of my connection to the Talan Race team http://talanmotorsport.co.uk/

At the weekend whilst racing at Cadwelll, Steve Jones who is parlaysed from the waist down had a big crash. His injuries included -

Smashed right tib/Fib
Damaged left knee
Snapped right femur which has a nice bolt through it which is from his hip to his knee cap
Fractured pelvis
Fractured spine T12 & L1 resulting in having to wear a chest brace all the time for 10 weeks

He was discharged from Hospital yesterday, and unlike most of us who would just bemoan our fate, as ever Steve remains chirpy and upbeat hoping that his injuries don't cause his early retirement from racing. You would think that after the original crash that nearly killed him and left him paralysed he would have had enough, but far from it.

Anyway, It would lift his spirits even more and be a great gesture if we riders who have twitter accounts could increase the number of followers on Twitter.

You do know that he has not had any involvement with the team since about September last your though?
