Gloves with joined fingers

I upgraded my summer gloves the other day, with some RST 2579 trac-tech jobbies, didn't realise until i wore them in anger that the ring and little fingers on them are joined. I am sure this is a safety feature of some kind, but never had gloves with this before.
But find it quite annoying especially on the clutch hand as need 3 fingers to pull the clutch on the 899, not so much of a problem with braking hand as typically only use 2 fingers.
Wasn't sure of other peoples views on this particular feature on gloves?

I have had them on go tech gloves for years was a pain at first but you get used to it/work around it , it's to stop finger roll in the event of a crash if I remember correctly

I have "Five" gloves...doesn't bother me...but probably use full hand on clutch. Scalpel and take the joining material away????

komp

yeah that's what i will probably do, if i cant get used to them.
I was just curious to see how many others have these style gloves and if anyone else found them uncomfortable like me

Odd the first few times...more so because I usually use alternate hands to push gloves fully on...you can't do that with these type...if that makes sense.

Never worn them myself but give them a try and if it's a pain just cut the material.

I cut mine - didn't feel "right" but I doubt it would have hindered my riding.
Significantly faster than you.....

I've got the webbing on my new Astar gloves and the only bit about them that doesn't bother me is the webbing!! I barely use the gloves because they are so uncomfortable but the webbing doesn't affect me when I do.

Don't know what they are called, but they are the alpine star ones, probably last year's design. I don't know whether it is just that I have picked the wrong size or whether they just don't suit my hands, whether they are machined wrong or what..... but they are horrible to wear.
