Unfortunately I'm going to be a no show this year (you lucky lot). I won't bore you with the details but I'm a bit gutted.

I have a room booked at Leith Premier Inn so if anyone wants to use it, let me know and I'll send the booking references etc. It's all paid for so someone may as well use it.

Hope you all have a cracking time and ride safe. Will definitely be back up there before too long.

Well at the risk of jinxing this, I look like I have managed to sort a route to my attendance  and thanks to Tim I also have accommodation again, should anyone still need a bed I'm of course happy to share the room.

Can someone tell me the rough route up from the Manchester area? I know we go via Hawes etc but I wanted to pre programme the TomTom in case I got separated and lost. Ta!

not been on here for a while,so thought i'd best check in..

at the moment,i'm planning on meeting in hawes as normal for 10am as that's when the café opens.
leave at 10.30,heading up for brough,middelton in teesdale in to alston for fuel,then across to hexham & then up to otterburn to have lunch in the redesdale arms.then  quick blast along the A68 to then cut across country to join the A7.

if your meeting us there and arrive early and need fuel,fill up then,so we can get off at 10.30.

if the weather is as bad as last year,then just make your own way up there.no fun riding in snow over the peninnes!!  lol
