Hi guys really quick one here. Bikes been rebuilt after I got knocked off, it's not been started for about six weeks but now everything is back together the bike won't spark. It primes the fuel pump but isn't sparking the fuel. Two theory's, the tilt sensor was damaged or upset after the accident and its not liking it (how do I cure that please), or the alarm immobiliser is sticking its oar in. The lights come up when the ignition is turned on and the oil light goes out then the fi light starts flickering on and off. Has anyone got an idea of what it might be cheers.

Isn't the number of times the light flashes related to a fault code?

Check the manual time I think. Other than that no idea about all things electrical.

Cheers mate, nut sure will check up on that.

what bike is it? My SV650 FI light started flashing and it turned out to be a faulty ignition barrel.

It's an 03 zx6r b1h model. Everything's back up and assembled but it jut isn't sparking or delivering fuel.

Check the green plug running into the sensor in the air box is seated properly.

It turned out to be the wire leading to the cam position sensor but she all done now and I pick her up today after nearly six weeks off it. Back with a vengeance.

Glad to see you sorted it. Wouldn't have been tilt switch because the fuel pump would not have primed IIRC.
