Certainly an eventful weekend, first time Steff has been on the bike with me for the entire trip and I think it's fair to say we both loved it. Ride up was mixed weather but enjoyable. Didn't have my mojo for the first half of the day but then it all came together.

Saturday the last 30-40 miles to the Green Welly were "interesting", pissing down, misting visor, condensation inside it and standing water on the roads. Did consider continuing on to Oban but my lower region was piss wet through. Enjoyed the ride back until the "incident", glad Ian is OK, was not fun seeing it from about 4 bikes back.

Unfortunately something with the curry didn't agree with me and Steff, she was projectile vomiting at 3:30am in the hotel room and I had the other end. The ride home was lovely but I felt so rough it was hard work. I ended up peeling off and leaving the others to enjoy the twisties. Got home, cleaned the bike and relaxed.

Cracking weekend again, great to see everyone and we will be back next year  :moto:

Had an errmmm intersting weekend

Drive up in the van was good, in hind sight that was a good call. Great evening out at the Starbank, lots of laughs with average company, as always.

Saturday, the weather was shocking, but great to get out and about on the bike, got to the Green Welly and decided to head back to Leith due to being soaked. I then spend the rest of the afternoon running around picking up bits of Tony the Tiger (sorry Al), and then picking up bits of Ian and then spent the remainder of the afternoon/evening at Dundee hospital whilst the rest of the crew stuffed their faces with food

To be honest Ian is extrememly sore, but came away with a fractured little finger and big toe. The CAT scan also picked up two fractured ribs, which were likly from last Friday's crash  as someone said to me earlier, he must be made of rubber to bounce as well as he did. We spoke to the Fireman who looked after Ian,whilst waiting for the ambulance yesterday, and he said in all his 20 years of scraping people up off the road, Ian was extremely lucky to escape with minor injuries and it could/should have been a lot worse. So we've been thanking the Scottish Road Gods for that.

But, on the plus side, it was great to see everyone and again, and a massive THANKS to everyone for making, what was a pretty horendous thing to whitness, slightly better. I'm sure once he's feeling better we can start with the merciless piss taking!

But i think after this, my 6 month ban and the mechanical breakdown last year, we've made the decision to do the Memorial in 4 wheels next year  :azn:

Still gutted we didn't manage our 007 reinactment at Glencoe via Al 'Speilburg' Dupre!
