I know its not a full on sports bike compared to those of the mid 00's however I appear to have got a real soft spot for it especially its looks.  Love them.  The reviews it gets are all very positive and it could be a potential new bike purchase :) especially in the matt black scheme.

It's a bit like the CBR600 of old which was regarded as a brilliant road bike but could also hold its own with more focused sports bikes of the time.

Probably a cracking all rounder

Thats what it seems to me.  The only thing I had reservations about was the sub 100BHP max power.  But then if I am realistic I don't think id ever use a 200BHP monster and would probably have more fun on the road with less.

Its the first bike since the C2H that I've really fell in love with just on looks.  I feel a trip to a Honda dealer coming on :)

If you like it, that's great.
Personally I hate these dressed up commuter bikes with sportsbikes names.

From memory, the steel framed CBR600's were about 90bhp. Great SS600 race bikes in their day and last year at a road bike only track day, there was a chap on a 97 CBR600 'steelie' giving pretty much everyone there a tanning.

So, we know it's a good bike..... they all are...... so it comes down to what old Wanny Daugh here has always said....... it's ALL about the aesthetics..... darrrrrlink.

I initially thought that about it when it was announced. Then Ive seen it in the flesh and read the reviews. Think It is aimed at those who want a bit more than a commuter.
