B1H Speedo give out?????

Evening people need a bit of help asap. Coming to work tonight and was tootling down the carriageway when all of a sudden my speedo went dead and just reads 0. The FI light came on and it wouldn't change at all. I stopped turned off te engine and restarted, pulled away and speedo still read 0 then after a couple of hundred yards the FI light came on again. The bikes not making any strange noises or behaviour but I'm worried its something worse. Any ideas where I start please people?

Speedo pickup come loose? Plug come undone?

Lhs cover where the front sprocket is, check the sensor is:

A) still fitted and bolted in there.
B) plugged in correctly.

Fi light comes on when the airbox sensor is unplugged as well. Unseat an reconnect the plugs under the tank if no joy with the speedo sensor. Also do the same under the seat

I'm hoping the FI light is to do with the speedo sensor as I can't get to it tonight at work so will have to have a look tomorrow when I get up and will pull some connectors off and give a treat of wd40 to see if it helps.

Yep, everything looks the same. Was tanking along to work today and the speedo flickered a couple of single digits so just waiting for a sensor wire to come into stock locally or turn up and will swap it out to see if it rectifies it. Cheers for that mate, put my mind at rest mechanically now.
