Jamie Whitham has done a real smart one too based on the W800

I'm right into this stuff at the moment.
My next bike will be along these lines.
Might even be a Harley....

I'd consider a Victory, but the whole chaps and tassles (accountants Chapter) marketing of the Harley wants to make me hurl....they also know how to rust very well :(

Something like this would make me happy

tucola

Needs a front mudguard.

And why does it have tractor tires?

And where's the plate gonna go?

tucola

But apart from that, I like it!

Something like this keeps me happy for day to day

Hmm, I quite like the idea of a Triumph Scrambler, but with a cleaner back end and front end:

Quite like the above, but maybe with less knobbly tires - those huge blocks would ruin the handling on the street, surely? - and a black front mudguard.

Jarse

I like mine as is and use it 2 up for local journeys.  The standard tyres are fine but mine are starting to wear quite badly now so not a knobbly as they were.

I have the Arrow 2-1 system, dresser bars (both as per the pic) and a chrome grab rail.

The more time that passes without the Street the more I bond with the Scrambler.

Watching this thread with interest.

CB750 Ray, you got any pics of it iin it's current state?

This is it as I bought it. I've not done anything to change its appearance yet, apart from cutting off that rack which was rusted in place and replacing the pink indicators.

And I was bored yesterday so thought I'd do a bit of Photoshopping. This is the before and after of what I would like to do to it. My base bike is a lot scruffier, though. I intend it to make the most of that. The tank will be sanded to bare metal and lacquered, keeping the dents visible. The paint is flaking off the engine some other places. I'm thinking of calling her "Tina" because she has a definite patina.

I'll probably start a project thread so it keeps me motivated to keep going. :)
