Oh I done a major life change in biking as well.

Away from sports bikes to the Z750  :moto:

46 years old. :police:

Just a whipper-snapper...I guess it is how many miles there are on the clock ;)

KTM 1190 Adventure R is super bike quick anyway so I fail to see your point Ash?
Significantly faster than you.....

On my clock....

Mllions Ash.

Though I  look like a few thousands.  Well looked after.

Retired Rozzer and loving it.

Swapped from sports bikes a year and half ago, went for the Z750R... I'm only 27yrs old.
Don't need the power on the road, upright and comfy but fast enough is all you need. Up to and just over three figures mph is all you need.

u could wait and get  the new superduke r 1290 in touring spec !!

I currently commute on an R1, does feel overkill but I do enjoy it but recently I have been getting the itch for an upright.

Do naked bikes offer decent protection when blasting down the motorway?

depends on the bike if it's truly naked no, The Street is OK to maintain 85/90  but any higher is a pita if trying to hold it for any length of time, I try to avoid Mways anyway as they are BORING.

Try a set of these on the 990 Moz

A set of 17/19" Alpinas and Michelin Anakees

They make the bike even more fun

another here who has just moved away from the sportsbikes!  The last two years I have been trying to convince myself i still enjoyed the riding position and that i was just having an off day or two.

This year i had several goes on my hubbys bandit and it confirmed i have been kidding myself.

CBR6 is now gone and a cb1000r in its place, cant wait for the first half decent day to get out on it, bringit on
