Flatter Renthal bars and decent bar end mirrors would look good on that too.

I do like the gold wheels but I have a thing for doing a black and white bike and I do like white wheels so they will be getting done once the weather breaks next year.

Good looking bike you will have after you do your mods. :moto:  The Abarth FZ1 is stunning.  :afro:

well finally picked it up this afternoon..

what a hoot to ride even in the pissing rain..  will need to change my riding style a little as you need much less pressure on the bars and I was hitting the apex of corners far to early and taking roundies in about 3 goes  :embarrassed:   Need to be a bit more careful moving round on the bike too so as not to use the bars as much but all in all pretty impressed first proper ride. It's quite happy lifting the front at speed over the slightest little rise in the road

Suspension is a bit 'wollowy' compared to the bikes I've riden in the past but TBH that kind of added to the fun but we will see how long that particular novelty takes to wears off..

Only slight bummer is the back rack..  The rear bodywork has actually been cut around it and even re-fitting the standard grab rails, which I dont have, will not fill all the holes that have been cut. So will probably be in for a new rear 'fender' as it's called but brand new and painted from Yamaha it's only £130 so not so bad and it will look even better with no handles at all which works for me..

Will be spending some time in the garage this weekend cleaning it, after today, and fitting the goodies that I've already got, (can, hanger and tail tidy) so will post up a few pics as I go.. The rear body work will take a few days to come in once ordered but should all be sorted for next weekend..

Let's hope the weather holds for a little while yet as fun as it was I'd rather ride in the dry..

Very nice :moto:

cheers..

I've opened a project thread with pics of what I've done today. Still a few little bits to do but the major work is done..

Great bike. I got to ride one at Silverstone and apart from destroying the pegs through ground clearance being a lot less than my Street R it was a hoot. Nice neutral suspension is much more suited to the road as well.
