For sale - Sony STR-DG810 surround sound amp.

Bought a few years ago now but never used for longer than a couple of months as we got posted, moved house and the surround speakers didn't follow us.  Plugged it in and tested it and its fine.  Comes with its box and packaging and its remote (no batteries). I'll have a search for the manual but I'm sure its online if needed.  Also has a full set of surround cabling in the box.

Top spec bit of kit inc 4 HDMI in, Multichannel 7.1 Receiver with Dolby TrueHD & DTS Master Audio.

Looking for £125 ono inc postage (it weighs 11kgs).  Might be able to sort Ninjaforce or collection for £100.

Cheers

Moz forgive my ignorance, but say u have a blu ray player, sky box, play station etc etc I could use this in line to make them all surround sound?
If so I'll have it mate. :-)

Yes, they will all be HDMI I assume which can all pass though this box but Moz would be better to comment as I've never actually used this one before.

Cheers Peej, that's pretty much what I figured with the amount of inputs going into it, just wanted to double check :-)

Millhouse

it's got 4 HDMI in and 1 HDMI out so seems a safe assumption!

Kev,

Exactly what the others said.

For the HDMI out devices (Sky, PS,Blu-Ray) etc you connect them all to the amp then the amp connects to the TV with a single HDMI.  The amp also has optical in (also compatible with the devices you list).  Obviously you'll need the speakers.  I might have a set if you haven't but they were stored at my bro-in-laws years ago and I haven't seen them since....

If you want it - PM me the delivery address and I'll reply with my bank details for an internet transfer if thats OK???

Thanks
