We have supplied an extruder called Makela-Alu in Luoma-aho for about 20 years. Never been there, but speak regularly to the people there. Everyone seems to have a log cabin in the summer, and drink large quantities of spirits in the winter 

Heh Ash, that would probably sound about right.. we're at cabin fever high now at end of July when everyone's spent their 4wk holiday there. Makes for interesting news at times : )

The guys there say they have had some awesome summer solstice/white night parties over the years in Finland 

True, summer is definitely the best time to be here, no question..
