If it's tyres for real world road riding, then Michelin Pilot Road 2ct were the tyre of choice for my R1.

If I bought another road bike then one of the first things I'd do is fit a set and not worry about tyres regardless of condition or riding.

Fastas......

To be honest I don't think there's any "bad" tyres out there, it's all down to preference. I've got pilot power 3 on at the moment (only coz I won them!) and they're far better than my riding ability  :moto:

I ditched the Corsas in favour of Pilot 4s...plenty grip in all conditions and longer life...allegedly.

Tiiimmmaaayyyy

Pilot power 3's for me. Good tyres and still life left after 3000 miles of mixed riding. Be careful with super corsas, they're not very grippy on ramps.

Think I've still got couple of sets of racetecs somewhere good old tyres them

I think I might try the Metzeler's. Cheaper than most of the top stuff and got really good reviews everywhere. Wear will be a lot better than supercorsa's and tread looks good for wet riding aswell. Pilot Powers appear to be the tyre of choice for most people though... Hmmmmm...

Had the old racetecs on the b1h the ones before they became interacts I've used them on track they wore pretty good to be fair and one the road they was well ok in the wet , I ride just as fast in the wet as dry and had a few moments but not binned it yet , if you want a cheap good tyre another one to look at is maxis sporty one cant remember what its called but its a decent enough tyre

I've had the Maxxis and crashed on the Maxxis, not a great fan.

Yeah, for the RC8. Can't get on with the Dunlop's, I know they're good tyres but not for me.

Are those OE Dunlops or replacement ones?

What model?
