Saw this on Bookface and there is not a great deal that I don't like about it:

doesn't look finished, the front is too high for the back and 8 spoke wheels are wrong.

it's a no from me....

disagree (we can't all like the same things) but admit wire spoked wheels look better  :azn:

No, no, no, the height of the front is spot-on. It should be higher than the back. Gives the silhouette the right degree of dynamic tension. Or summat...

Only thing I'm not sure about is the solution for rear light and numberplate, on the side of the wheel bolted to the shock. Never quite convinced by this approach. But it's tricky to come up with an alternative.

If it were mine, I'd also propose a black hugger rear mudguard in similar style to that on the front, just for practicality's sake.

And I actually like the mag wheels on it.

But as Iain says, it takes all sorts...

Fair point.

Although I gather that you can soon rack up a few quid tidying up an old beater.

Mentioning no names, Ray.

Gobert

There are a lot of nice cafe racer's out there - that is not one of them.

MOzZereLLa

Agree with Gobert.

Saw one of these with the full Akky the other day and I have to say it was lush.

Significantly faster than you.....

Jarse

Big yes from me, including the original wheels.

Each to their own :moto:

But you speaketh the truth. That's quite a bit less than I've spent.  :embarrassed:
