Is it possible to do any bike that has a 'remote' shift leaver ?

quite fancy giving it a try on the FZ8 if it's possible to do without spending hundreds on new rearsets..

Most of them, you have to flip the clamp that goes onto the splined gear selector shaft by 180 degrees. Aslong as it doesn't hit anything it should be fine...

For example.

ahh OK..

might not be room on the FZ8 as the gearbox is mounted on the back of the block the selector rod goes through a gap in the frame and heads up to the splined shaft at about 45deg angle...   and it's already a tight fit and not sure I'll be able to flip the clamp over..

but I will take a look though..
