Battery didnt seem to have the juice to start the bike this morning so was going to let the clutch out down a big hill  , but ive noticed while in gear (lever pulled in) its extremely hard to push is that normal there's alot of resistance is this normal I always thought they rolled easily I certainly cant remember this on any other bike ive owned?

Clutch dragging by the sound of it, coast down hill in neutral then change up into 2nd to bump it

Wet clutch, cold oil, you'll get some drag...... Do what Iain said

I'm charging the battery, that's what I was going to do but I wanted to check if it was normal , so it shouldn't have this much resistance if the oil is hot? When I pulled away the other day it jumped forward when I let the clutch out , this may be connected

Might be due to the weight of the oil, if you've opted for a heavier oil during a recent change, or the clutch might need slight adjustment.

That's called 'pulling away', they all do that.

There's ment to be 50w but there's 40w in there I need to change it, how exactly does one adjust the clutch?

By Thundercat used to do that, especially when cold. I did 20k miles on that bike and it never got any worse. Always kept me on my toes on a frosty morning commute!

could be the clutch plates are starting to wear grooves into the clutch basket and the plates get stuck and then 'ping' free, hence nothing then full engagement..  might also be stopping the plates moving fully apart hence the drag when cold..

Lay the bike on it's side so you can take the clutch cover off the motor without draining the oil and take a look.. Just have a new gasket to hand in case you damage to old one taking it off..

2p..

not a bad idea that I may do it upright as she could do with some decent oil in her anyway

If that's the case , will riding it as is (not got time to have a good check) damage the clutch?

Well if the basket is worn it'll need replacing anyway....

But if it were me, I'd want to know what was wrong so I didn't catapult myself in front of someone!
Life is a contact sport,  you'll be needing rule #5
