You can change tyres now without changing the whole bike?!?!

I'd long thought it was a flaw in bike design that the tyres seemed to wear out so quickly when most of the rest of the bike still seemed to have some life in it.

Great that they've found a way to replace them, same as what they've had for a while with that special water stuff that powers them.

New ZX10R sounds pretty good.

Shouldn't someone on here get one?

It is supposed to be a Kawasaki site, after all....

Has the MV arrived yet?

Nope. R1 in for new gearbox as I type this.

Have you got some cardboard to put under it to protect the garage floor from the oil leaks that it will now have forever? ;)

Yep.....

I've heard some real horror stories (mainly from the States) of oil feed holes being blocked with gasket sealant leading to seizures on recalled bikes. Having given Phil Seton more money Han I could really spare already I couldn't really stretch to him fitting a Nova gearbox (not the Vauxhall variety) for me.

I was actually joking....
I wouldn't read too many US websites.  They tend to way over-blow issues over there.
Are values taking a hit?

I've not really looked into it too deeply but it gives any buyer the perfect excuse. Cunts.

I'd trade it in for less than he'd pay me for it before suffering that indignity.

there's no indignity..... if you just relax and let it happen, I've seen people almost smile when it's over.........

On saying that though he must be getting soft in his old age, didn't he just pay full 'buy it now' on the R1 he just got hold of?
