What time are people meeting in Hawes? Unlikely to make it but just wondering

It's normally about 9 to 9.30am

As it's just around the corner from me I really should make an effort this year to wave you all off.

Make the effort to come on the rideout.   ;)

I'd love to, but you have to commit early as it's an over nighter...... and I absolutely, categorically, insistingly never ride in the rain.......
It's going to be dry...you can kip in my garage. No excuse.

Has anyone got a list of the places we stop at on the way? Guy at work wants to plot a similar route up and I'd be quite keen on sharing it on a map too.

I'm assuming its roughly the same as this :

Quote
Hawes, Middleton in Teesdale, Alston, Chollorford, Kielder, Bonny bridge, Hawick, Selkirk, Galashields the Edinburgh:-)
With a lunch stop at the falstone cafe (I'll contact cafe and let them know to expect a coach load)
Petrol at Alston and the tescos on the a7 just south of the Edinburgh bypass

Cheers!

morning all,not been on site all year so apologies for just getting caught up with things :embarrassed: me & chris will be up for this again this year, looking forward to it.

had a quick message with al about times & routes.

plan so far for the northern English contingent,is to meet at hawes for 10am,no point getting there any earlier as the café doesn't open till then.
if you need fuel, please fill up on way into hawes, not the way out, that way we get straight off.
looking at going, hawes, kirkby Stephen, brough, middleton in teesdale,alston..then towards to hexam & up towards chollerton, onto A68,then do lunch at the pub we've stopped at before, think it's the Ryedale arms??

then on towards Scotland on the route we did last year.

looking forward to seeing everyone again

oh & I've ordered a larger number plate for this years ride out!!    lol

Legal plated fitted to mine as well, although that turned into having to fit longer indicators, which turned into me blowing a fuse, so yeah, all fun and games lol
