Andy, a mate of mine is looking for one of these or a BMW and has asked me to keep an eye out for something. I'm trying to convince him that the 10R is a better bet. He has been waiting for the end of the season to look for a bargain but if something good came up at the right price I recon he might have a look earlier.

He wants proper stock motor for reliability. He is well into his 60's so likes a bargain and is not so hung up on perfect cosmetics. Anything else nice on the bike is just a bonus to him. Never know it might be of interest so its worth passing some details.

ps - how's the car?

Car is great, really pleased thanks. No real issues to report. I recently fitted some new front tyres and an exchange Bosch MAF sensor several months back, thats about it. Must get it in for a service soon as its over on time even though I've only done about 5000 miles in it. Goes well but as expected drinks fuel like a mofo around town!

If I think Dave will be interested with the bike I can pass some details to him. The tight old git seems keen now to buy a bike for next season. He's thinking the 10R's are highly sought after but once the season is up no doubt all the Superstockers will hit the used market putting a few more out there, hence why he was waiting or considering a BMW. If its a high spec, light use, nice condition bike then I think it will be worth more than his budget and rule him out.

Im enquiring because if it happened to be a fairly stock, well used coaching bike the mileage, condition etc may just happen to bring its value in line with his budget.

Sounds nice, thanks for the info Andy, PM replied to. Spec and price are a bit posh for the old boy but it was worth the ask as it could have fitted and helped me to talk him out of a BMW.
