Where can you get it done?
And how much does it cost?

Not so sure about the boring out, but the plating can be done by this place in Gloucester

they aren't cheap, but they have been around an age, and are amongst the best in the UK

Cheers ash! Looks like the right sort of thing, plus they do overbores.

I know all the top MX riders have been using them for years. I used to work just behind them for about 3 years and went in there a few times. The MX riders use them.

If you email them, and ask for a recommendation, I've no doubt they can put you in touch with a company who can bore your block to size.

I'd want it done in 3 stages though

Jig boring to new size

Hone to the correct surface finish

Plate for long life/low friction coating etc

You may need to use 3 different companies to get what you want as all are specialists in their own field, you might find an overlap with the boring and honing though
