After years of 600 750 and 1000 superbikes and sports bikes I have finally accepted id have more fun on something else.

After 3 weeks on a Tiger 1050 I was rught. Sure it wont be as good on track or as fast on A road sweepers but its probably  better everwhere else.

Im a convert.

Just ditch bikes full stop. Now that is liberating. Not sure how long it will last though.
Significantly faster than you.....

I did have a 3 year break from bikes

It was miserable

Sportsbike have very little place on our roads...Nakeds and Adventure bikes have all the comfort and power we could ever need if the truth be told.
The latest 1050 Tiger is a superb machine.

Your not the only one that's a convert over the last 13 years I have owned and ridden some of the fastest most powerful bikes ever conceived and loved it all yet I buy a dullville and I absolutely love the comfort and simplicity of it , it's a different kind of riding , I'm not sure I could live with only having the deauville but I think I could have a big tourer as a only bike

You seem to have a shortage of punctuation. I'll post you some.

must admit i am loving my  ktm, so comfortable and easy to ride, i can see why people move away from the sportsbikes
but more fun... thats a negative from me
Took the panigale out for the first time in a month the other day.. its like night and day, so much lighter, nible, faster and fun
it did feel like i was riding a childs toy for the first 5 mins tho!!

I was talking yesterday about how much fun my old KR-1 was. Only 50bhp but super-light and nimble. Never had a bike since that could raise a smile like that one!

in general, though, on real world roads, a naked can be much better than a sportsbike. I was much faster on the Scotsburgring on my Z750 than on my ZX-6R, for example.

Funny you mention a kr1s my first bigish bike was a zxr400. I loved that bike. Up and down the gears like a loon. So much noise so little go hahaha

No regrets on swapping to a tiger 1050 in April, awesome bike, awesome engine, just does everything.
I had a look at the HIDs installed, can't see a specific name in the paperwork, just a leaflet for HID xenon lights.
I haven't ridden with the stock projector lamps in these versions but the HID kit is great.
