Really unsure on this. It's going to flog up back roads and make overtaking slightly slower vehicles quite hazardous. Depends on how long the system override lasts for being able to exceed the speed.

The challenge would be riding everywhere at 60mph on a roads
Significantly faster than you.....

I doubt I would. What would be the point, there'd be no thrill, no adrenaline and no fun. Might as well go wherever I need in public transport or in a self-driving car and commit suicide by boredom.

Hmmm, wont be affecting bikes tho will it but I think I'll have to keep a 'classic bike' running just for the history of it  ;)

I thought that too but it clocks where you are, and won't let you go above the speed limit you're in. So no 60mph in a 30 either

I thought they tested this in Switzerland a few years ago, and it failed spectacularly due to it causing more accidents.

It'll no doubt end up on bikes at some point I would have thought

Nope I'll just keep the current one or buy a new one before the new rules come in and keep that, same goes for the car.

I've got a contradictory view of this.  I'd love an autonomous car for commuting that just plugs itself into a fast-moving convoy and takes me to places without me having to do anything, but I want a bike to be independent of all of that.  The two aren't compatible though.

I've got a Buell, so my speed limits are imposed anyway
