In no particular order.
1. ZH2
2. Ninja 1000 SX
3. Z900RS
In front by a nose is the Ninja 1000 SX for its dual ability...one eye on Euro Trip 2022...but I'd be happy with any one of the aforementioned.

You can keep the 3 of them in my garage if you want to hide them from Angie.  ;)

Superduke appeal fading?

You have had it 12 months I suppose.

It's not fading...it's a class act...but...it's devouring rear tyres...I'm not 100% confident in the reliability...and I'm mulling over the options for the future...it may well be I decide to keep it...it's surprisingly good on fuel...Im intending doing more touring in 2022...so something that can still scratch but luggage carry...so Ninja 1000SX...or the new Superduke GT that is based on what I have at the moment will get due consideration. 😊
I just like filling my head with bikes and options...it's harmless in the grand scheme of life.

Totally understand the reliability thoughts. Lots of chat on the owners groups of the gen 2's reliability but mine was faultless. Do the basics right (keep the battery terminals tight and living on an Optimate and everything else is fine).

I'm enjoying the Triumph lots but missing the "grunt" and "shove" I used to have. It'll be a very rare thing the Triumph leaving tarmac but at least the option is there.

I'd like the try the naked supercharged Kawasaki. Love the look and thought of that but there doesn't seem to be many of them about. Are they in short supply?

The other thing turning my head is the new V4 Multistrada - that would solve the power miss.

Yeah I have the Superduke R on Optimate 4...takes care of it...108mm dia pistons x 2 is a big shove for any battery.
The ZH2 has grown on me...nothing but praise when I had my test ride...not aware of any shortage.
Sat on Grumpys new Ninja 1000SX and it felt like a nice fit...the luggage system for a Solo tour would be plenty...and the bike looks the part with boxes on or off...and plenty power for the road.
The 1301cc V Twin stomp is addictive...and I'm real aware it's going to be a hard act to follow...rode Tuckers S1000R two weeks ago and it felt gutless....it isn't...but it just felt it after a year on my Superduke R.

My comment on the ZH2 was only based around never seeing one. Not in a dealers nor on the road and we get a lot of bikes around here.

Like the idea - why did you discount it vs the SDR3?

That's a good question...as I bought the Superduke without riding it...I was just sold as there wasn't a bad review and I wanted what I perceived as character...and the SDR hasn't failed in that department...the engine alone is phenomenal.
The looks of the ZH2 were a factor...but as you know sometimes it just takes time for something to click...and watching a lad taking one out on a test drive on an Open day I attended yesterday the bike just looked mean and purposeful.

MOzZereLLa

Of course. I forgot about the circumstances behind the SDR3 purchase.
